MET Marketing Meet Up – Clicks to Bricks
MET Marketing last week held their second Marketing Meet Up at the Everyman Cinema in Leeds, with guest speaker Claire Harper sharing her insights from a career with the likes of Mamas & Papas, Sainsburys and Ocado prior to launching her own brand, IndiaCoco to market.
Claire’s inspirational talk left many in the room aspiring to follow her lead and no doubt in years to come some present will have their own businesses showing the same success and promise as Claire’s. With International Womens Day just a few days following the event it was great to hear how one woman, starting with her dining room table as an office and herself as the only employee, has within just over 12 months developed a thriving Ecommerce website that has been followed by the launch of a retail store and concessions in farm-shops across the region. IndiaCoco is also planned to launch further retail sites this year as the business goes from strength to strength.
Alongside providing a great opportunity for link-minded marketeers to share their thoughts and experiences MET Marketing’s Marketing Meet Up’s free events also encourage donations to Yorkshire Cancer Research for whom MET Marketing support throughout the year.
