Trainee Recruitment Consultant - Yorkshire

In our second year of trading we have experienced a fantastic 15 months; establishing the brand and our position in the market.

Due to continued success we are looking to add a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to the team at our city centre offices in Leeds. This role will suit a graduate calibre individual who has sales acumen and commercial experience within a sales, marketing or HR related position. Being a success in this job is all about you as a person; so you must be driven, passionate, outgoing, well presented, have great attention to detail and determination. There will be great days and fantastic rewards in this role but you must be tenacious and resilient to turn things around when the chips are down.

The Role:
• Forging and maintaining long-term relationships with individuals in the marketing industry as both clients and candidates.
• Utilising your sales skills to promote the MET brand through calls and face-to-face meetings and gaining authority to recruit marketing jobs for clients.
• Matching job requirements to candidate’s skills and personalities and ensuring an appropriate fit for client’s needs.
• Sourcing new candidates with matching experience to that required by clients.
• Building a knowledge of the marketing, digital and communications industry through immersing yourself in the industry and general research.
• Managing candidates through the recruitment process providing CV advice, coaching in interview technique and any other advice as required.

The Person:
• Ability to demonstrate success either through education or commercial experience
• Graduate calibre with experience in sales, marketing or HR.
• Driven, tenacious and passionate personality.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willing to work to specific targets and thrives on success.
