Social Media Manager (Interim) - Yorkshire

This is an excellent opportunity for a minimum of 3 months for an experienced Social Media expert to create the social strategy for a high profile consumer brand. You'll be responsible for delivering day-to-day a social presence which reflects the brand, tone of voice and customer expectations. Your significant knowledge will be utilised to challenge existing processes, systems and strategies and formulate an integrated social media plan which covers brand and campaign content, customer service through social and paid social activity. During the course of your role you'll identify the businesses longer term needs, which could lead to a permanent opportunity for either yourself or for you to support in recruiting. The Role: ·Review, revise and recreate Social Media strategy. ·Work cross-functionally with PR, CSR, Sponsorship, Brand, Marketing, HR and Customer Service teams to understand and advise on how social can support the functions and embed processes for teams to own their part of social. ·Create clear policies and procedures for social media across the business with clear control frameworks. ·Liaise with agencies and content writers to create social campaigns. ·Review social monitoring tools and capability ensuring fit for purpose to deliver best in class social strategy. The Person: ·Social media expert with experience creating social strategy for high profile consumer brands. ·Confident to challenge existing processes and effectively manage and influence stakeholders in large organisations. ·Creatively minded and capable of writing, scheduling and managing social posts. ·Available to start with short notice and commit to a minimum of 3 months.
