Marketing Manager - Yorkshire
Having seen 34% growth last year and c22% this year here's a business on a rapid journey that you can have the opportunity to be a part of. The speed of growth has led to marketing becoming a function that needs it's own leader as the volumes increase and growth opportunities continue to arise.
Marketing has always been important, but agency resource has previously been sufficient to deliver. That's changing. You'll still be able to utilise agencies and external support where required but being Marketing Manager you will provide a more structured and strategic approach. Core channels have been trade show promotions, email campaigns, product literature and a digital presence. Some budget has been allocated to display activity and sponsorship too as well as brand activity. It's down to you to understand if this mix is right and what and where time is best spent. You'll get autonomy, respect and responsibility here.
As a company the business manufacturers and exports thousands of products every month with core markets in APAC and EMEA regions. Experience working within a B2B product manufacturer or distributor selling to overseas markets will be preferential.
- B2B marketer with experience in a product business.
- Strong understanding of marketing at trade shows and conferences.
- Breadth of knowledge of marketing channels both online and offline.
- Confident leading marketing strategy and planning and feeding plans up to board level.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal sales teams and collaborate to drive results.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Reviewing marketing activity and creating metrics to understand success.
- Developing strategic marketing plans across multiple channels.
- Executing and producing marketing materials for specific regions and products.
- Guiding business on the most effective approach to maximise marketing.
- Working closely with Sales Director and leadership team to identify future opportunities for marketing.
Where You'll Be Based:
As a manufacturing business the head office is integrated into the warehouse building on an out of town business park. It's easily commutable from Leeds and is on multiple bus routes as well as being only a short drive with onsite parking available. Access is also straight forward by car from the likes of Bradford, Huddersfield, Wakefield and East Leeds as they're just off the M621. Hybrid working is an option if preferred with 3 days in the office as standard per week.
