Head Of Social Media - Yorkshire

As Head of Social Media for this FTSE 100 business your role will be a strategic position managing a business relationship with the likes of Facebook and Twitter to keep the business at the forefront of developments in the technology. Managing a budget of over £1.5m you'll need to be commercially focused and able to set KPI's for social and demonstrate a clear ROI on investment in the channel. This role is much more than updating content on social channels and requires a strategic social media expert who understands the development of long-term social campaigns and can manage a team in driving revenue through social media.

The Role:
* Management of Social Media Strategy across listening, engagement and product development.
* Responsibility for a significant team managing content, social products and services.
* Assigning and monitoring the distribution of a £1.5m+ social media budget with clear metrics and ROI being reported.
* Direct management of senior relationships with key social media platforms ensuring selection for beta testing of products and changes and negotiating contracts.

The Person:
* Social Media expert who has managed social media from a strategic perspective beyond a content strategy.
* Significant team management experience.
* Capable of liaising with senior management teams and driving social across all business departments.
* Commercially astute with previous budget management experience and confidence in reporting ROI.
* Existing relationships with social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter.
