Export Product Manager - Yorkshire
My client is a leading B2B and B2C manufacturer of products sold through the DIY channels. They are now looking to grow their team with the recruitment of an experienced Export Product Manager.
The key remit of the role is to drive profitability and market share by managing the product lifecycle for their Export channel.
You will be responsible for the day to day management of the existing product range, and also driving NPD in this sector. The core skills required are good project management skills, an eye for detail, market research, NPD and the ability to spot trends and opportunities that will feed into new products.
Due to the export nature of this role there will be international travel and you will also be involved in organising the company presence at international exhibitions.
You will be an ambitious product marketer with good attention to detail and a numerate, analytical and inquisitive nature with the ability to communicate your ideas to a wider audience.
In order to be considered for this role you must have a strong product management background within a B2B or B2C manufacturer. Ideally you will have experience within the DIY sector and had some 'Export' experience. You must also be willing to travel abroad.
