Communications Manager - Yorkshire
One of the leading utilities businesses in the region have an excellent opportunity for a Communications Manager to work on business critical projects that will likely span 2-5 years. Delivering change communications to both an internal and external stakeholder audience you will need to be a confident relationship manager able to communicate with ease at all levels of an organisation. You will regularly work with the executive leadership team and will conduct steering groups, brief the executive board and host workshops to ensure communications are being planned and executed effectively. For any communications professionals with strengths in internal communications who enjoy exciting, highly visible project communications this is a fantastic opportunity that whilst initially being recruited on a 12 month basis has every potential to span for many years.
·Devise strategy for key change project communications to an internal audience of several thousand and a wider stakeholder audience externally.
·Brief executive board on communications strategy and plans.
·Lead steering groups and internal and external workshops to understand communications impact and deliver effective messages.
·Utilise internal resources to develop creative and engaging communications.
·Significant experience within internal communications in a large complex corporate business environment.
·Previous experience in managing change communications.
·Comfortable working closely with executive board level colleagues.
·Able to devise strategy and deliver engaging and creative communications across a range of channels.
