French Marketing Manager - North West

MET are now recruiting a number of exciting roles for this fast growing E-commerce business. Having only been trading for 2 years they have grown organically at a fast rate and now turnover in excess of £15m annually. Demand has resulted in expansion into Europe and coupled with exponential growth in the UK the future is very bright! This role they are looking to recruit is for a French Marketing Manager.

The successful candidate will have experience across the full digital marketing mix gained in a fast paced online environment and will take responsibility for marketing campaigns aimed at the consumer marketplace with a cross-channels approach in the French Market. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with passion and a real drive to succeed. A detailed working knowledge of PPC, email marketing and affiliate marketing is a must, and experience within a retail environment would be advantageous. A fluent French Speaker is a must and experience of working on French e-commerce markets is also preferable.

The Role.

* Work closely with the Marketing Director to ensure that the company is clearly and appropriately visible in all target markets and implement new campaigns
* Manage digital marketing campaigns across the French making recommendations for improved performance
* Effectively manage a range of PPC campaigns and ensure positive ROI
* Oversee external agencies to ensure they are producing consistent and effective results
* Create regular proactive proposals for short term tactical initiatives to maximise Marketing effectiveness - especially digital, but also other channels as well as PR opportunities
* Investigate other cross-channel media opportunities to increase brand presence
* Monitor competitor activity and keep team up-to-date with rival developments
* Monitor and report key marketing and website analytics data

The Person.

* Previous and demonstrably effective experience within a Marketing function
* Proven track record of managing successful PPC campaigns
* Experience of managing external agencies to achieve maximum value
* Website and email responsibility
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* High levels of accuracy with immaculate attention to detail in all Marketing communications
* Knowledge of Direct Marketing disciplines including testing, analysis, data and creative
* Fluent French
