Group Internal Communications Manager - East Midlands

Our client is one of the largest independent B2B service businesses, providing IT solutions across the UK and Europe. Due to its evolving environment, they are looking to recruit a Group Internal Communications Manager that will report into director level. The role is focused on implementing engagement and communications processes across the business which will contribute to the acquisition and retention of its employees. We are ideally looking for someone with a background in Technology, Business Services or Professional Services, that has the ability to implement innovative communications strategies.

The Role:

• Developing a communications and employee engagement strategy that supports business strategy
• Devising communications and engagement plans to support retention and acquisition of company employees
• Leading the development and implementation of such strategies and training of these into the leadership community
• Transformation of the business intranet so that employees can rely on it as an area of 'go to' for information
• Liaising with the marketing department to ensure internal and external communications are aligned

The Person:

• An internal communications/ employee engagement professional who has worked in a corporate environment, ideally across Technology, Business or Professional service sectors
• Proven implementation of such strategies in previous positions
• Have a great sense of creativity and an innovative approach
• A self-starter who has a good amount of entrepreneurial flair and credibility to liaise with senior stakeholders
