Events for Marketeers & Creatives in March

As well as seeing the start of Spring, March brings us a diverse mix of industry events to bolster our work calendars – both across upskilling ourselves, as well as improving knowledge on important work matters. Work Mental Health is a popular topic, and whilst 55% of employers have employee wellbeing on their senior level agendas – it is an area whereby there is still a lack of general understanding on how this can be improved. Join sessions in Leeds and Manchester below to see how tackling Work Wellbeing is more than just providing free fruit.


Leeds Digital Coffee Morning

1st March, 08.30 – 10.00

Natwest Accelerator Hub, Leeds

The LDCM is a fun morning of networking, coffee drinking, pastry eating, creative thinking and lounging. Join for an 8.30am start. As usual, 200 Degrees will be set-up and be ready to serve fresh coffee and pastries. There is non-salesy networking for around half an hour. At 9am there’s an app creation session and the group collectively creates not just an app idea, but also its functional spec and monetisation strategy.

Google Workshop: Build a Digital Marketing Plan

6th March, 13.00 – 14.00

Managing Mental Health & Well Being

12th March, 08.30 – 10.00

Schofield Sweeney’s employment team will be holding a number of breakfast seminars in 2019 that will help employers address some of the many issues they face. They are designed[ for those who manage employees and are an excellent networking opportunity. Staff mental health, including workplace stress, is taking an ever-increasing amount of time for those responsible for managing staff absence. By the end of this seminar, you should be able to understand the importance of mental health at work, some common causes of mental health and how to manage your staff’s mental health.
